Aislin bit her lip softlty as she walked through the doors of the library. It was cold in here, there were some sections which were dusty, others which were unclean, the archives which were untidy. Despite the disorder, it was slightly comforting. People didn't talk in the library, it was an unspoken rule. Aislin rather liked that fact. She wasn't used to having so many people around her, there were hundreds, and most of them were unruly louts that she wished would go to some ettiquette classes.
Finally noticing that she was worrying at her lip, she stopped, straightened herself, and walked to the most secluded part of the library. It was beyond dusty here, the dust lay in a thick film akin to a layer of snow, but snow wasn't so horridly filthy. She stood there a while, as still as possible so as not to make the dust rise up and settle on her pristine black robes, or polished green leather shoes.
It was only after a few minutes standing in this seclusion, that she was fianlly able to steady herself and walk into the other parts of the library, those other parts which although they were clean, still had the undesirable few people littering them. At last she thought that she had found herself a nice niché, where she would be unnoticable, and settled down simply to think.

I saw the Prophet this morning. I'll have to ask Gillian about her family troubles. I suppose I should be sad for her, there has to be some type of trouble for them to cut us off their client list, surely?
I'm not looking forward to any ranting letter of Mama's. And I hope that the Ashworths aren't looking to be well liked in Britain, because they've discluded three of the oldest families.
Talked to Tamara today, it was very nice to see that with all the rowdy, arrogant younger students, there are some good ones too. She always seems to like listenening, and she does present herself so well. Her friends, too.
Oh, and how can I forget my somewhat short discussion with Amorisa, it was very nice to see her again, though it was a shame that I had to go and see Zoey about something. It would do well to see her again, for we did become friendly before Lucas' blood came out of the shadows, didn't we?
It is a shame she holds him to her heart with affection.

People are changing, people are showing parts of themselves- whether the demonstrations be in glimpses, or in unrivaled egotistical cabarets.
I do not like change.
Mama mailed again, and I'm looking forward to Christmas. She has someone very beneficial lined up, and the marriage may turn out to be enjoyable.
Why do people not understand? They criticise, they gasp, they point, but they do not attempt to comprehend. For Merlin's sake- why not? What is so horrific about fertility? What is so torturous about a life of caring for others, about a life of being needed? About a life of culturing, molding, directing, until the result is perfection? Make no mistake, I am not dim, nor am I trivial, or demonstrate vast amounts of idiocy.
Why must people be so... ignorant as to suggest that everything is more important than a woman's duty?
Trophy wife.
Oh, but I am being bitter. And it doesn't do to be bitter.
